GREAT OFFICE TIPS!

When it comes to buying computer equipment for your office, think off lease or refurbished to cut cost and get quality product at the same time.

Did you know that buying a brand new Dell Optiplex , HP, or IBM desktop or laptop  and they can cost any where from $1200 to $1,800 per work station. Thats before even putting software on it, bumping up the memory or any other preferred add ons. You can cut that cost in half with off lease or refurbished equipment and still get top of the line equipment.

The key is to uderstand what your buying and make sure it's top of the line. Don't buy any no name systems or celeron processors, you get what you pay for.

DESKTOP RECCOMMENDATIONS:

I have found the Dell Optiplex series to be very reliable and easiet to work on for my choice of desktops. For a fraction of the cost and buying an extended warrentee you can't go wrong. Everything is easy to remove if need be. The hard drive slips out like a breeze. Memory slots are easy to get to. Pleanty of room to work or add periferals. At a ball park price of $399-$450 you cant miss. Compare that to a new Dell around $1200. Buy 3 for the price of one and streach your dollars. Lets face it, computers are out dated before you know it so why spend top dollar now when you may need to all over again in the near future.

LAPTOP RECCOMMENDATION:

IBM T40, 41, 42,43 and 60 series are a lock!! Thay are by far the best buy on the market. They come factory refurbished from IBM. The S claim looks almost brand new and the OS is burned in out of the box. These machines just plain work and don't quit! If you want stability and dependability look no further. I would walk away from double the hard disk space, a bigger screen and more processor speed and stay with The IBM. Looking for a laptop can range from $899 low end to $2400 high end. The IBM T 40 series is  in the $799 - $899 range and you won't be dissapointed. I always reccommend the extended warrentee as it will replace any hardware defects along the way. Again, save $400-$600 and maximize your spending and deploy more hardware for your dollar.
